Jazz Re:freshed have run a successful live residency for over a decade and recognised that the time was right to start a record label. They required expertise, deep knowledge and an ability to work autonomously while consulting directly with Project Director/Co-Chief Executive Adam Moses on managing the start-up label. Since engaging the services of c da sound, the label has increased product sales at their Jazz Re:fest festival at Southbank, consolidated and increased collection capabilities for its artists, built a royalty database, negotiated a digital distribution deal and delivered a strategy for the direction of the label

First Word have successfully run a record label for 15 years with publishing handled by an administrative partner.
